We are looking for a Cluster IT Manger to join our team and contribute to our data-focused initiatives for Hyatt Regency Lisbon, Sheraton Cascais & YOTEL Porto.
The Cluster IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing IT systems and infrastructure across multiple hotel properties in different region of Portugal (Hyatt Regency Lisbon, Sheraton Cascais & YOTEL Porto). This role ensures smooth operation, security, and innovation in technology, enhancing guest experiences and business efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
Technology Management & Support:
- Define and drive long-term technological strategy to multi-property operations (different properties/brands).
- Manage and develop IT teams across multiple properties, defining KPI and goals with business strategy (properties and corporate leval).
- Supervise IT operations, networks, and systems within the hotel (different properties).
- Maintain and optimize critical hospitality systems, including PMS, POS, and guest services platforms.
- Provide first and second-level IT support to staff and management.
- Coordinate with corporate IT and vendors for escalated issues.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement cybersecurity measures following the guidance of the corporate IT team.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations like PCI DSS, NIS2, ISO 27001 and GDPR.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
- System Enhancements & Project Coordination:
- Lead IT projects such as software upgrades and new technology rollouts.
- Ensure full compliance with brand standards and in all operational and technical implementations.
- Collaborate with corporate IT teams on digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relations, and procurement processes.
Guest & Staff IT Experience:
- Enhance guest technology services, including Wi-Fi and digital check-in.
- Provide IT training to hotel employees to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience, preferably in hospitality.
- Familiarity with hotel-specific systems like Opera PMS and Micros POS.
- Strong networking, cybersecurity, and cloud technology expertise.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to travel between properties.
